A big congratulations to all MYP athletes who competed last weekend.

A number of clients partook in the Charleville Half Marathon on Sunday.

Sean O’Leary ran a brilliant PB of 1:24.37, hot on the heels of the PB he ran in the Clonmel half marathon 4 weeks ago.

Gary Wright ran an excellent PB of 1:44.07, as he continues his build up towards the Dublin marathon.

Julie McCarthy broke the magical the 1:30 mark for the very first time, coming home in 1:29 and battling inspirationally in the latter stages

Eoin Sheehan clocked 1:36.38 – a massive seven minutes quicker than the time he ran 12 months ago.

Maeve Kavanagh came home in 1 hour 35 minutes for her fastest half marathon in over five years.

Shane O’Connell ran a very impressive PB of 1:37. Almost 10 minutes quicker than the times he ran in the Limerick and Clontarf half marathons a few months ago.

In the Berlin marathon on Sunday, Ray O’Halloran ran a time of 3 hours 20 minutes. A brilliant effort following a very difficult build up with illness.

While in Tralee on Saturday, Tommy Wallace also ran a marathon PB on a tough and undulating course.
